The 4th Annual KFB Brew Fest  | Saturday, September 20, 2014

The Fourth Annual KFB Brew Fest was held on Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Roseneath Farm (1102 Cherokee Rd) Florence, SC. Ticket sales from the event helped Keep Florence Beautiful, a local non-profit organization with the mission of improving the community through beautification projects and recycling initiatives.  The event featured:

HOME BREW CONTEST – The Fourth Annual “Brew Fest” is an AHA / BJCP Sanctioned Competition. First, Second, and Third place prizes will be awarded to the winners based on Aroma, Appearance, Flavor, Mouth feel, and Overall Impression.

LOCAL BREWS & FOOD – Local and regional craft brewers along with local home brewers will be on hand pouring their prized craft beers. We will also provide several outstanding national craft beers for sampling. For the wine lovers, Grotto Fine Wine and Victor’s Bistro will be serving their favorite wines. Wholly Smokin’ BBQ and Ribs will be selling their award-winning, slow- cooked barbecue.

LIVE, LOCAL MUSIC – Once again attendees will be jamming to great local music. We will have two bands (to be announced) playing all festival long!

EVENT LOCATION – ROSENEATH FARM FLORENCE, SC – Roseneath Farm perfectly embodies the mission of Keep Florence Beautiful with its towering trees and peaceful in-town setting off of Cherokee Rd.

Purchase Tickets -$30.00 at the door.  All attendees must be over 21 (ID will be checked at entrance), ticket includes Beer & Wine.

Download the Home Brew Application -There is an entry fee of $5 per beer and a maximum of 3 beers per entrant. However, you are allowed one free st entry with a ticket purchase. All fees must be paid and entry forms emailed to Xtophergoss@bellsouth.net by midnight on September 13, 2014.

  1. If I enter into the competition do I still need to purchase a ticket to the event to attend? if so, is it at full price or discounted?
