Adopt-A Programs

The Keep Florence Beautiful Adopt-A Programs are volunteer programs that give the public the opportunity to make a difference in their community through clean-ups, beautification, and general maintenance of streets, gardens, and other public areas. The Adopt-A Programs are open to individuals or businesses, clubs, and organizations. Adopt-A-Street or Highway

Adopt-A-Street or Highway volunteers are responsible for maintaining their adopted street/highway through litter clean-ups (at least 4 times per year) and weed removal. Adopt-A-Street or Highway commitments are for at least two years and a sign will be installed on the adopted street/highway after the first two successful clean-ups.

Adopt-A-Park or Trail

Adopt-A-Park or Trail volunteers are responsible for maintaining their adopted park/trail through litter clean-ups (at least 4 times per year), trail maintenance, and trail inspections. Adopt-A-Park or Trail commitments are for at least two years and a sign will be installed at the adopted park/trail after the first two clean-ups.

Adopt-A-Spot or Garden

Adopt-A-Spot or Garden volunteers are responsible for maintaining their adopted spot/garden through monthly beautification efforts and up-keep of any plantings in the area. Adopt-A-Spot or Garden commitments are for at least two years and a sign will be installed after the first two clean-ups.
