Keep Florence Beautiful has launched an innovative project that invites residents to take an active role in maintaining the cleanliness and aesthetics of their surroundings. One exciting aspect of this initiative is the Library Clean-Up Kits, strategically placed at all six library branches across the county. Library Clean-Up Kits:
Our Library Clean-Up Kits are a new, creative tool that we hope will engage the community, especially the younger generation, in environmental stewardship. Located in the children’s sections of all six library branches, these kits contain all the essentials for a quick and enjoyable cleanup session. Each to-go packet includes gloves, a garbage bag, informational materials from KFB, and a few fun items like stickers, tattoos, and an environmental children’s book to inspire and educate participants about the importance of keeping their community clean and green.

Visit Your Local Library:
Head to one of the six library branches in Florence County and locate the children’s section. You’ll find the Library Clean-Up Kits easily accessible, ready for enthusiastic volunteers like yourself!
Grab a Packet:
Your Library Clean-Up Kit packet ensures you have everything you need for a successful clean-up. The gloves and garbage bag are provided to make the process easy and hygienic.
Sign the Waiver:
Before you embark on your clean-up mission, take a moment to sign our waiver. This is a standard procedure to ensure the safety of volunteers and compliance with local regulations.
Scan the Barcode:
After completing your clean-up, don’t forget to scan the provided barcode. This simple step helps KFB track and measure the collective impact of the community’s efforts.
