Adopt-A-Street

Keep Florence Beautiful and the City of Florence have teamed up to form the Adopt-A-Street campaign and they need your help! Individuals, businesses, street clubs or organizations are encouraged to adopt their street and help Keep Florence Beautiful!

When your group volunteers to become an Adopt-A-Street Volunteer, they agree to:
• Adopt-A-Street for a minimum of 2 years.
• Pick up litter on a regular basis (at least 3 times a year) along the
boulevards (all 4 sides), and the alley (if applicable); and participate in the
annual Great American Clean-up.
• Remove overgrown weeds from sidewalks, boulevards and curbs.
• Bag litter and weeds in bags that will be provided by Keep Florence Beautiful.
• Place filled bags and other collected litter on site (normally on the side of
the street but not on sidewalks or in the street) for pick up by City of Florence personnel.

After your first successful cleanup, Adopt-A-Street group recognition signs will be placed along the adopted streets by the City of Florence .
